A process rarely breaks down in just one place. I personally examine how activities, departments and logistics partners connect, then help turn improvements into practical changes together with the employees involved.
Understanding the whole chain
I look at the flow of goods and information from origin to user. Where do waiting times, handover problems or unnecessary steps arise? Connections with transport companies and logistics providers are included. Where appropriate, I use my network to bring parties together and improve the fit between inbound and outbound flows.
Practical warehouse improvements
From warehouse layouts and racking to a scanning system, choices should support daily work. I identify bottlenecks and help develop an approach to initial setup, redesign or process changes. Employees contribute to the analysis: their practical knowledge reveals where a change could make a difference.
Costs and division of work
Alongside speed and collaboration, I consider costs and waste. Which activities should you handle yourself, and which might suit a specialist provider better? I help substantiate that decision and give management practical ways to monitor costs and pursue targeted improvements.
