Making a decision is one thing; making a change work takes daily attention. As your project manager, I personally bring structure, keep the people involved connected and take an active part in implementation.
From a question to a workable plan
I start with what is happening in practice. Which agreements are not working, what information is missing and which dependencies are slowing progress? With that picture established, we decide on the approach, roles and planning. The project must address what the organisation actually needs.
Working together through change
I connect management, operations, IT, suppliers and users. That means listening carefully, discussing differences and turning decisions into clear actions. I involve employees in changes affecting their work, helping them understand what will change and what that means for their daily activities.
Implementation, handover and follow-up
During implementation, I stay close to both the detail and the people. I help make work instructions, responsibilities and management arrangements clear. After a system or process goes into use, I also review bottlenecks, necessary adjustments and next steps. A handover should enable the organisation to continue independently.
